Browser extension privacy policy

This policy covers the browser extensions published by Md Arif Hossainon the Chrome Web Store and other browser extension stores. It applies to each extension unless that extension's own store listing points to a different policy.

None. The extensions do not collect, request or upload personally identifiable information, authentication credentials, financial information, health information, personal communications, location, web history, or keystrokes.

No user account is required and no analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs or fingerprinting are used.

If an extension has settings or preferences, they are saved locally through the browser's own storage API (chrome.storage.local or chrome.storage.sync). This data stays in your browser profile, is readable only by that extension, and is never sent to a server operated by the developer. If you use sync storage, your browser vendor may sync it across your own signed-in devices under that vendor's privacy policy. Removing the extension deletes its local data.

Each extension requests the minimum permissions needed for the feature it provides, and the exact list is shown by the browser before you install. Permissions are used only to deliver the extension's stated functionality on the pages it declares — never to read or export page content for any other purpose.

No data is sold, rented, traded or transferred to third parties. No data is used or transferred for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose, and none is used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. This matches the Chrome Web Store Limited Use policy.

Where an extension talks to a public API to fetch information you asked for, that request goes directly from your browser to the provider and is subject to the provider's own privacy policy. Nothing is proxied through developer-run infrastructure.

The extensions are general-purpose tools, are not directed at children under 13, and knowingly collect no data from anyone — children included.

Because no personal data leaves your device, there is no developer-held data store to breach. Extensions are distributed only through official browser extension stores, which review and sign each release.

If an extension's data practices ever change, this page is updated and the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes are also reflected in the store listing's privacy disclosures.
